Sainte Foy ski holidays - France

Sainte Foy Description

Sainte Foy is surrounded by the World famous mega-resorts of
Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere, Sainte Foy really is the jewel in this most impressive crown. Easily our favourite resort, Sainte Foy with its friendly atmosphere, cheap lift pass (around half the price of those in Val d'Isere and Les Arcs), and excellent and affordable restaurants, remains quiet and unspoilt. In fact Sainte Foy must be one of the least busy resorts you will ever visit. Here you won't encounter lift queues, just friendliness from all those working in the resort who hope that you enjoy the unique ambience as much as they do themselves. Once at Sainte Foy, after a short car or bus ride, snow time is 100% snow time. With lifts running from 1550m up to 2620m, the sheltered, north-west facing slopes enjoy excellent snow throughout the winter. Pistes are beautifully and lovingly prepared and the ridiculously small number of visitors to the resort means that they stay in top condition all day long. The lower slopes offer wonderful sweeping runs through the trees whilst the upper slopes provide the truly breathtaking descents. When you fancy a rest, why not stop off at one of the selection of superb and very reasonable restaurants on the slopes, some converted from original Savoyard shepherds lodgings. Our favourite is run by neighbours who offer traditional Savoyard fare. Burgers and chips are readily available at the new restaurant near the bottom lift, should you prefer!

Sainte Foy Apres Ski:

Saint foy is a quiet, undiscovered resort, originally a savoyard farming community, and has only been developed since 1990. Some private chalets and hotels. This means that the primary activity is skiing, with not much focus on anything else.
