Les Arcs ski holidays - France
Les Arcs Description
Les Arcs offers the complete package to all abilities. The opening of the Vanoise express has created the Paradiski- one of the largest ski areas in the world.
A long term favourite amongst skiers and boarders, Les Arcs has increased further in popularity in recent years, due to the double-decker cable car linking the ski area with La Plagne to form the Paradiski Area.
Les Arcs itself, consists of five separate villiages, we feature accommodation in all of the villiages.
Plan Peisey is the arrival and departure point of the Vanoise Express cable car which links the two resorts of la Plagne and Les Arcs. The village of Plan Peisey has a number of bars and restaurants to choose from whilst Vallandry, about 10 minutes walk away, offers further choice.
Arc 1800 is the main villiage in the hub od the ski area and is designed around a central area where the lifts and pistes meet, enabling easy access to the skiing and snowboarding. being the larger of the villiages, it also has a wide selection or bars and restaurants.
Arc 1950 is the latest edition to Les Arc, it is designed as a self contained villiage with the emphasis on modern comforts. The villiage centre has a supermarket, shops and a small selection of bars and restaurants. The villiage is also linked by a lift that runs late into the evening that takes you the short journey up to the villiage of 2000m
