Les Angles has been a favourite ski destination for both the French and Spanish for many years. The authentic village resort is surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests and is perfect for the family. Les Angles caters for all levels of skiing and was the first French ski resort to install snow cannons.The Ski Season in Les Angles begins from the 1st weekend in December until the end of April.There is also a permanent snowboarding halfpipe, extensive cross-country skiing with 156km of trails and 2 mountain restaurants.The resort is perfect for families and offers creche facilities and 2 snow gardens for children. It is situated close to the resorts of Formigueres and Font-Romeu. Away from the slopes, there is plenty to see and do including the famous 'little yellow train', where you can take a journey through the mountains passing some stunning scenery and hidden villages. Nearby, visitors will also be able to enjoy relaxing natural warm springs reaching temperatures of 38 degrees, whilst being surrounded by snow. There are some other lovely villages to explore within this area, many offering even more skiing.
